Dolorosa Series

This is my new series of 2021 which is known as Dolorosa. The contrast between the perfectness of Christ presented by a rounded finial cross ( the curves represent the capabilities to embrace the uneven or sharp edges - Love ) surrounded by thorns and nails - ( Pain and sufferings ). A reminder of Christ submission to the pain and agony without resisting with His strength. The body fabric is made of cotton linen blend and the embossed effect resemble various size of floral pattern. The lining is lined with pure natural cotton voile. Ordering details click here

Newman Chasuble

  Newman Chasuble

This chasuble was made about the time when Pope Francis recognises the miracles of Cardinal Newman.

The layout of the trim is work out by tracing the original image as a draft then the width of the trim and the ratio of the layout is carefully transferred onto the paper draft after a few experiment of different cutting.

The interlining of the chasuble is relatively soft compare to most fiddleback chasuble.

The body of the chasuble is made of a damask with the composition of 60% Cotton blend with 40% Polyester.

It is one of my most light weighted fabric available in my workshop.

The trim is a combination of two type of trim by adding two identical trim at both side to widen the width of the final outcome.
